SHE SAID DESTROY Hard At Work On Debut Album
October 25, 2005Norwegian extreme metal thrashers SHE SAID DESTROY are currently in the studio recording their debut album, "Time like Vines", tentatively due this winter via Nocturnal Art Productions in collaboration with Candlelight Records. The group, who have been an active live unit and have made many impressive live appearances, made strong impressions on fans and media alike with their latest demo, "Armageddon Anyone?"Metal Hammer Germany declared it demo of the month, and Metal Hammer U.K. gave it 8 out of 10 points, stating, "This is heavy fucking metal, not Paris Fashion Week!"
Commented the band's guitarist Anders "Ugmod" Bakke: "Strange. We’ve been in the studio for what seems like an eternity, but now we're almost done. We've got half of the vocals and a few guitar leads to be added before we start mixing this ugly beast of a record. We have also managed to settle on a title: 'Time like Vines'.
"I'm really satisfied with both the recorded music and the title, and I can't wait for it to be released. No release date has been set, but it'll most likely be in the very beginning of 2006.
"The recording process has been so time-consuming that I've totally forgotten about gig bookings for this winter. So far we only have the following shows planned:
Nov. 05 - Nordic Fest at Sub Scene in Oslo, Norway
Nov. 12 - Sandvika Metal Fest at Musikkflekken in Sandvika, Norway
Dec. 16 - Hammerslag Festivalen at Rivals Pub in Tønsberg, Norway
"I hope we can add one or two more shows in Norway before the end of the year. We're also involved in a tour plan outside of Norway some time next year, but haven’t got any details to give you on that just yet, though."
